exploration & your goals
Our first meeting is where we get to know each other: our process and your needs. This is your time to share your goals and dreams with us and let us know what you are looking for. If our financial planning and asset management offering is a fit for you, we will sign an engagement letter which serves as a symbol of our accountability, focus, and transparency. financial planning
Following the first meeting, we give you access to our financial planning portal, which allows you to enter your information in a secure and confidential manner. We work with the information you give us to build your financial plan, which takes into consideration your income, career trajectory, family status, investments, retirement goals, real estate, risk management, insurance, debt, and taxes. At the second meeting, we will present the plan to you with specific recommendations and will begin working with you to implement it. investment advisory
Once your financial plan and your financial goals are defined we can start investing. We will work with you to determine your risk profile and the investments most suitable for you. We will build a portfolio that may contain stocks, bonds, ETF’s, mutual funds, annuities, and insurance products that are tax-efficient and will help meet your needs. Once the portfolio is implemented we will monitor your investments, rebalance, and make changes as needed. communication with you
Formally, we will plan to meet with you at least once per year, but we are always available to discuss your investments and major financial decisions - no appointment needed! In addition, our financial planning portal provides you with real time insight into your investments, budget, and net worth, giving you a clear lens into your finances at all times. advisory fees and commissions
We will explain to you how we get paid for asset management and financial planning and pledge to offer complete transparency. There are three ways that we can potentially get paid: a one-time fee for creating a financial plan, an ongoing fee for the assets we directly manage, and a commission paid by an insurance company. You can find additional information about our fees [here] staying the course
Investment planning is a long term relationship, so it is very important that you feel comfortable and confident with your plan and with us as your financial advisors. We update your plan and schedule meetings to review your overall portfolio and to address changes in your life such as marriage, divorce, new baby, inheritance, the purchase/sale of a home, or even the purchase of a large ticket item such as a car or a new boat. |
